If i get 60 marks in mhtcet and i am obc caste student can i get admission in coep college

Hey dear as per last year cut off with 60 marks Coep would be very very difficult however you can try for following colleges as obc candidates

VJTI mumbai
Sp mumbai andheri
Kk Wagh college nashik
Walchand college of engg

These are colleges equival to Coep as they are autonomous.

Cutoff for mechanical in coep is high 170+.
But try in counselling round if you get that in special round.

I will suggest participate till last round although you got allotted before.

Jspm Wakad and wagholi campus
Dy Patil Akurdi
MIT Pune
Modern college Pune
sinhagad Vadgaon and Kondhwa campus

So these are best colleges that will suit your score

The mechanical engg. requires 165+ in coep. So there is very low chance to get coep for 116 score.

Score needed branchwise to be on safer side are as follows:-

Comp/IT - 170/200
Extc - 160/200
Mech - 170/200
Electrical - 150/200
Civil - 145/200
Metallurgy - 140/200
Production - 140/200
Planning - 125/200

If you are an open category student, there are very slight chances for getting admission here. You may only get BTech Planning or Production branch. Please refer to the following link to get an idea of cutoffs.
