With a rank of 72,626 you wont be able to get admission for CSE in COEP.
In this case, you still have your CET marks in your hand. As per 2017 cut off for CSE< you should atleast get 179 marks in order to get admitted to COEP

I think you have a decent chance in MHTCET as you do have a good score in the former exam so i will advise you to go with the MHCET score and enrol in the counselling as something good is waiting for you.

Previous year cut off in MHCET test in Mechanical stream at College of Pune was 172score and closing rank in Mechanical Engineering was 345.

I depends from branch to branch but it as you have asked it so I would tell that it will be some where around 5-6k max this is temporary one and itai according to last all years trends
COEP accepts MHTCET score to offer admission in engineering coures so you will have to apply and crack the same. Also,the safest score to get seat in top branches like CS should be approx 160+.

For 1st round:-
For general category, Ideally to have a freedom of choice of branch, a score of at least 180/200 should do .And for OBC, about 10 to 15 marks less.
For 2nd round:-
Reduce 10 to 15 marks from the above scores but less availability of
