Hi, iam Harsh. My english was not so great. How to make my English Session Strong? I will go for CLAT .

ANPAM KUMAR Student Expert 12th Oct, 2019

Hey there

If you want to go for CLAT then ofcourse you need to have good English. For that you'll have to focus on grammar, reading comprehension, vocab also. For grammar you'll have to refer to standard books like rein and Martin etc. For reading comprehension try reading novels and newspapers on a daily basis. Pick difficult words from what you read and then write them in a copy and revise them daily it will boost your vocabulary also.

Good luck

I score 56% in BA graduation degree and i am in general category. Now i am able to give CLAT exam and get admission in NLU?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 18th Nov, 2019

CLAT is for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. For CLAT PG, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Law. But because your highest qualification is BA and that is not a law degree, you are not eligible for CLAT PG. But now talking about CLAT UG, you need to have completed your 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 45%. It is 45% for General Category and 40% for Reserved Categories. As there is no upper age limit for CLAT, you can appear for CLAT UG. Not based on your BA qualification but based on your 12th qualification. I have completed BA and now i want to do LL.B. Can i give CLAT exam and study in NLU.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 18th Nov, 2019

Rakesh, if you want to study LLB, it is a Bachelor's degree and with already a BA degree under your belt it will be a slight detour. For studying LLB, you should appear for CLAT UG. The eligibility for CLAT UG is that you should have completed your 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 45%. It is 45% for General Category and 40% for Reserved Categories. And there is no upper age limit for CLAT. So you can appear for CLAT and pursue LLB from any NLU. can a small town student (Raebareli) like me will be able to crack clat and enrolled in top nlus? I am presently studying for it in Lucknow but regarding the competition from all over india like Delhi kolkata Bangalore I have started doubting myself

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 17th Nov, 2019
Do you know how many cities are in India? There are approximately 300. And in a country which has more than a billion population, there are just 300 cities. Even assuming a million people live in these cities, the rest are from villages and small towns. Which means, most of the talent and resources come from small towns and villages and people like you and me who come from them. And small towns and Villages are the ones which are called the back bone of this country. Nit everyone who made it big was born in a City. So if anyone can crack CLAT, it is you. All you need to do is focus on studying and leave the rest which are beyond your control. It doesn't matter where you are from. What matters is how you move ahead. Stressing over factors which are unnecessary only spoil your confidence and preparation. Do not let geographical location undermine your talent. Go through our page at:

how to prepare in 4 months for the clat exam

iammohdshareef 5th Oct, 2019

Hello dear,

.

You have very less time for your preparation. Now Don't waste your time even on Sundays. Here are few points that will be helpful in preparation.

.

Focus on the things you do

whatever you learn see that you don't buttify them

Avoid reading for much time in nights

No matter what you should extend your time for reading

Test yourself once in a 2 weeks

Make a timetable saying that in how much time you are going to complete a lesson and a book

Never make learning of each subject for more then 1 hour, either change the subject or take rest.

These points will be enough for preparation. Here is the link of books which help you in learning.Try to read those particular books by not wasting time on reading other books.
