Common Law Admission Test
Hello aspirant,
I'd suggest Heritage, at Ravipuram road. The faculty is incredible and are sincerely committed towards their cause. They have weekend classes for kids doing their 11th and 12th as well as a repeaters batch. Further, students from Heritage have also consistently done well and are in the top NLUs in the country. Apologies if this comes across as propaganda, but I say this from personal experience.

Hope this helps. Thank You.
Hello Ayesha
Read newspapers everyday and make a note of the most important happenings under different heads. If you do this throughout the year you need not memorise compendiums which are rote and boring .
Read Political Science,History, Sociology, Economics books of class 12 and Class 11 CBSE in your free time. That is enough for static General Knowledge.Read it once or twice. These books are very interesting too. Please do not waste time reading other books because GK is anything under the sun.
This year there weren’t any legal maxims. But try learning the most common ones. Legal Reasoning is the most interesting section. Do not over stress. Just blindly apply the principle in the answer.
Class 11 Political Science book could help for Static Legal. Join an online course (Law School 101 or Sriram Law academy). Try to read some Important Articles.
Logical Reasoning can be aced with practice to some extent. But the presence of mind you have in the exam hall matters more. Know the basics of various areas in Logical Reasoning. Probably a week or two is enough for that.
Learn basic English grammar. Try reading comprehensions. Again it is all based on your luck and ability no matter how hard you prepare Reading Comprehensions. Do not waste time memorising words. If you really want to, go with Word Power made easy by Norman Lewis. Take time to learn it throughout the year.
Dear Shashank, to be eligible for CLAT, there is no specific subjects that you should have studied in your 10+2. Any stream Candidates are eligible, So even if you are studying Science subjects in your Class 11 and 12, if you secure a minimum aggregate of 45%, you are eligible for CLAT. It is 45% for General Category and 40% for Reserved Categories. For more information on CLAT eligibility criteria, please visit our page at: https://law.careers360.com/articles/clat-eligibility-criteria

No GLC, Mumbai does not accept CLAT scores for admission in its 5 year and 3 year LLB course, instead they conduct there own entrance exam called MAHA CET MAH-LL.B (5 years) CET and MAHA CET MAH-LL.B (3 years) CET you need to give this centralised CET for seeking admission in GLC,Mumbai and after this a list is prepared based on the cut off rank. The details of the exam can be accessed here https://law.careers360.com/articles/mh-cet-law
