Common Law Admission Test
CAT and CLAT are completely different. For appearing in CLAT which is a law entrance exam you'll have to have completed 10+2 but for CAT which is a management entrance exam you'll have to be a graduate. The syllabus for these two exams are also very different, only a few things you can get in common. But you'll have to choose either of them in order to proceed.
Regarding preparation you can follow different books of quantitative ability and Logical Reasoning, English grammar and law for CLAT. And for CAT just practice the previous year questions, some quantitative ability concepts and read editorials.
And try to get test series for both the exams.
All the best
Hi,Aspirant
Yeah, for Clat it's difficult to get admission with poor rank even if you are general category student.for clat cutoff for General is around 130 + Marks for OBC 120 to 125 + and For SC/ST it is around 80 to 100 Marks.Rankwise cutoff for Gen-1 k to 2 k and for obc- 2k to 3 k and for sc/st it may be around 8 k to 13 k.
Hope you understand the trend.

Hey Riya,
As much as I am aware of Only NRI candidate can apply for NRI seats. And no matter where or who is sponsoring his/her education. Moreover NRI seats are expensive as well. And you must be an NRI for getting the seat Allocated for You. No matter who is sponsoring your education.
Best Of Luck
Dear candidate,
Some of the top private colleges in India which accept CLAT score are:
Apart from NLUs, a total of 52 private colleges and universities will also offer admission to aspirants on the basis of their CLAT 2019 result. The official CLAT website informs: “The following private universities have signed a MOU with the CLAT Consortium to use the CLAT 2019 scores”. The names of these universities/ colleges are listed below:
Hope the answer is helpful.
Good luck!
Let me tell you with this rank as a SC Category student your chances for getting any NLU is Null.Because for NLU your score should be below 10 K for SC Category student for getting admission in even any lower NLU.so don't be worry about it you have time try next time.
Hello Sujeeta!
As per the official admission schedule declared by the concerned authorities at NLUs, there is no provision of 4th seat allotment list as of now. As per the schedule the last i.e third seat allotment list was published on 28June2019 and admission under it will last till 30June2019. If still there are vacancies after the third list then the consortium of NLUs shall announce it via a notice in near future. But there are very less chances of release of the 4th list for CLAT results.
All the best!
As per the official schedule released by the consortium of NLU ,third seat allotment list is scheduled for 28June2019. The last date to confirm admission and pay fees for candidates selected in the third allotment list is 30June2019. No requests for admissions will be considered under any list after 30June2019.
Hope this helps. All the best!
Hello himanshu
Thanks for asking this question but I do not think that any third provisional list will be released in the entire procedure.
In order to understand the procedure properly I would suggest you to go through the following link -

Dear Priyanka, don't need to worry KPM soon will be releasing a list or maybe happened they may release a list. I wish you get what you want.
Hello,
Both the percentage and the rank that you have been talking about is suitable for admisssion in a private college to study Law.Now regarding private colleges, they are quite expensive as compared to government colleges. With a low rank/percentile you can expect admission.Well this is not in the case of every private college to be very honest.
Thank you.
