Hello,

It's tough to predict that as they are taking into consideration the 12th marks this year.

Seeing your marks yes, their is high probability of you getting your desired branch. But it depends on the merit of the students who have applied for the CSE branch.

Best of luck;

Dear sir/Mam I am fill form of VITEEE 2020 but due to COVID-19 it has been cancelled and admission is on basis class 12th marks and Jan JEE mains percentile, but Im not giving jan JEE mains exam and my 12th percentage will be 55%(general) can I get admission......

HARSH AGARWAL 10th Jul, 2020

Hey Ayush :)

Since Viteee is cancelled due to the situation of this pandemic and is based on the numbers of board results as well as on jee mains exams.

You need to get  60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM/PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent).

If you get minimum this much marks then only you are able to participate in viteee.

I feel that you should practice hard and appear in second attempt of jee mains which will be going to be held on 1-6 September 2020.

Or you can appear in improvement of board marks and then apply in next year. I feel with the hard work you will be able to get a good college.

If you wish to appear in this year only then you should also apply for other papers such as comedk, upsee, paper of Gla university etc.they contain many good colleges.

Many colleges also provides management quota such as abes, aktu etc(especially in upsee there is a liberty of 10% management quota ). you can go to this way also, these colleges does there own test and interview to get the admission for these 10% management quota seats. you can go to the website of upsee to look at the number of colleges and there management quota.  wish that you will take fine and best step according to your will and ability.

I also recommend you to go to official sites of these colleges and have a look on the eligibility criteria. so as to get maximum opportunities.

These above steps should be taken after 2nd attempt of mains(in your case it is first).

You should practice hard for 2nd attempt of mains. you can go to online material providers which provides you the basic idea of the previous years mains question pattern.

I feel that 10 to 15 practice set of each subject is sufficient to anyone.

Plan strategically and work hard for your future. You are the best maker of your future.

I wish you get a very nice college in future.

Wish this answer is helpful to you.

Happy learning!

Thanks and regards

Harsh Agarwal

Dear Sir/Mam Is it true that According to current situation (due to COVID-19) the passing percentage of CBSE class 12 (2020) student is more because if more student is fail then Compartment exam is also a big deal for CBSE to conduct?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 25th Jun, 2020

The CBSE exams that have been scheduled for July 1st to 5th have been cancelled as per CBSE's decision. The same has been conveyed to the Supreme Court as well. Students have an option to appear in the examination only if they wish to. But if they do not wish to appear for the examination, then their performance in the last 2 examinations will be considered to grant them marks. This option is available only for CBSE 12th students and not for Class 10 Students. The details of assessment for those students who do not want to appear for the exam will be published by July the 15th. And for those Candidates who want to talk the test, the exam dates will be announced when the atmosphere is good enough. ICSE also will follow the same rules. Regarding the rest of the details like pass percentage, we need to hear from CBSE rather than believing fake news. So please wait for official information.
