If i use slide option against the seat i got in 1st seat allotment of JOSAA.Then later on I dont get any upgraded seat, So will i loose the seat that i got at first round too??

ayanmukherjee045 14th Oct, 2020

Dear aspirant,

If you choose float or slide option after 1st round seat allotment then you will lose your seat which you have got in that round. But don't worry ,you will definitely get a seat in 2nd round(not necessarily the upgraded branch but same one which you have got in 1st round seat allotment).

In Mock seat allotment 1 of jossa counselling I have been Alloted a seat in NIT Agartala in Civil Engineering which i wanted. So does that mean i will get it in final seat allotment of round 1 too???

ritikaprasad.work 12th Oct, 2020

Hey there!

Mock seat allotment takes place to make it easier for you to understand the procedure of counselling and what colleges you can get into. So, generally whatever college you get alloted in mock allotment you'll get it in your round 1 allotment as well for the most part. Chances of you getting the same allotment are really good.

can we drop any subject in jnthuh according to r18 regulations i mean in r18 regulations i came to know that there is no droping system in latest regulations of jnthuh like r18 regulations.

Sumna Sree 20th Nov, 2020

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well

Yes jntuh allows to leave two subjects but on one condition the subjects must be non-technical and should carry 8 credits .

These can be dropped by college at the end of final semester exams but now there is no such rule and at the end of final semester  examinations the college itself drops  the least two  subjects .

Hope this helps you

All the best!
