Hello,
The eligibility for IAT (Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Aptitude Test) and NEST (National Entrance Screening Test) exams is primarily based on specific academic criteria:
IAT (IISER Aptitude Test) Eligibility:
Academic Requirement:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with science stream (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology).
A minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (55% for reserved categories like SC/ST/PWD) in class 12 is typically required.
Your Score:
Since your PCB score is 45% but your overall (including English and Hindi) is 61%, you may not meet the eligibility criteria unless there is relaxation based on overall marks or reserved category.
NEST (National Entrance Screening Test) Eligibility:
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD) in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology.
Since your PCB marks are 45%, you may not be eligible unless there are exceptions for combining subjects or category-based relaxation.
Hello aspirant,
During their Class XII (or equivalent) test, candidates must have taken a minimum of three subjects from the following categories: biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics. Candidates from SC, ST, and PwD groups must receive at least 55% of the possible points in their Class XII (or equivalent) exam. It is necessary for candidates from other categories to receive at least 60% of the possible points in their Class XII (or equivalent) exam.
So you do not follow the eligibility criteria and ineligible for IAT Exam.

Hello
Grace marks are extra marks given to students in specific situations, such as:
1. Difficult Questions – If a question is unclear or has errors, students may get grace marks.
2. Borderline Passing – Some boards/universities give grace marks if a student is very close to passing.
3. Overall Aggregate – If a student has passed all subjects but is short of a few marks in one subject, grace marks may be given.
Different education boards (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards) have their own policies on grace marks.
hope this information helps you .

Next, watch English videos and TV shows, practice speaking with yourself by recording and improving, and join English language meetups or groups for 6-12 months.
