Yes you can give the exam and if you qualify and get selected you can take your admission back from the current course you are pursuing. But you'll have to essentially present the documents required during the counselling which you'll have to take from your current university in case

Yes, you can enroll for M.Sc in Economics after BBA.

For joining a master's degree in economics a candidate must have completed their graduation in any stream.

The candidate applying must have completed a bachelor's degree course under any discipline with minimum 50%.  Along with the above criteria

I am going to take admission to IGNOU PG Diploma in Financial Management program. I want to do MBA(Finance) later through lateral entry. Should I clear OPENMAT now or I can appear in OPENMAT later after completing PGDFM? How long it remains valid?

For both the cases you have to appear for OPENMAT exam.

For case 1: Since you are pursuing PGD in finance management your eligible for the option of credit transfer to MBA if you are a direct entry student for PGD that is without OPENMAT.
