For alloting the seats into the college both the ranks will be taken into account. But your community rank might add up to your advantage during the counselling. Therefore make sure to apply for the counselling rounds as you have a chances to get admission into good colleges

The second round of counselling is the tricky one. There is no scope of free exit in round 2. That means once you have been alloted a seat in a college you need to join it. And if you choose to not join then you might even be excluded

It totally depends on the school however accounts is the major subjects of commerce so it is compulsory in most of the schools.

anyway, it is important for you to study accounts if you take up commerce because without accounts, the career options in commerce reduce.
