In order to be admitted to HBTU, Kanpur for the IT branch, as per the cut off ranks of 2017, you should secure a rank between 13000-14000. Last years cut off rank for IT was 13468.

According to me,if one wants to take CSE/IT then the cutoff Rank could be 30k-35k.
Similarly, for the Mechanical Engg. the cutoff Rank could be around 40k. And for other core branches, i.e. Civil/Electrical Engg. the cutoff Rank could be 45k-50k.
