Hey,There are three entrance exams to get admission in various courses at IIT Bhubaneswar, and these are-:•JEE (Joint entrance examination)•JAM(Joint admission exam for M.sc.)•GATE(Graduate Aptitude test in engineering)To get admission to four-year B.E/B.Tech programme, there is only one entrance exam - JEE (Joint entrance examination). So, the admission of the candidates is based on their JEE main entrance exam score.To get admission into two-year M.sc. programme, JAM (Joint Admission Test for M.sc.) is the only entrance test.GATE qualified candidates with bachelor's degree in engineering/technology or master's degree in any branch of Science/Mathematics are eligible for admission to Masters/Doctoral programmes.Hope it helps!

As per 2017 cutoff criteria, the closing rank in IIT BHU for Chemical Engineering is 5900 for general category.
For your information the cutoff varies for all branches and reserved categories.
For OBC the last rank is 2318
For SC the last rank is 1345
For ST the last rank is 756
