Both the colleges are extraordinary in their own ways.IIIT gwalior has highest package of 35 lacs on the other hand DAIICT has the median package of 9 lacs.

So I suggest you to compare both the colleges in all aspects that would be more better.

According to me i would have chosen hbtu Kanpur with Computer science as the scope for Computer science and engineering is increasing day by day. Rest according to you , you have got iiit jabalpur too. But go for it if and only if you are interested and if not,

Hello Aspirant,  You can sit in IIT exam only two years. One when you are in 10+2 and and other one is next year after 10+2. In these two years you have to qualify the exam and get the seat in best IITs.

I would definitely suggest you choose the IIIT kanchipuram as its a government institute and VIT Chennai is a private one. And the degree certificate from IIIT kanchipuram will have somewhat greater value than the VIT Chennai. VIT Chennai also costs you more fees than the IIIT kanchipuram.

The closing rank of ECE IIIT jbp for round 7 of JoSAA last year was 23149.

However, in the CSAB Special round the cutoff went to 25998. 

So, You need to go for the CSAB special counselling rounds, to get ECE at IIIT jbl.
