Hi! With a CPGET rank of 975, you have good chances for admission in M.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics in Hyderabad. You can target Osmania University, Raja Bahadur Venkat Rama Reddy Women’s College, and private colleges like Sarojini Naidu Vanita Mahavidyalaya, Saanvi PG College, and Jahnavi PG College. Your rank is safe for most colleges. https://university.careers360.com/articles/cpget-cutoff
Hey! With 366 marks in NEET 2025 under SC rural category in Karnataka, your chances for a government seat in private medical colleges are decent, especially in the later rounds of state counselling. Seats in semi-government quota of private colleges may open up for your score.
If you don’t get a government quota seat, then yes, you can also apply for the 12 lakh payment seat in the mop-up round. Many students go for this option when government quota doesn’t work out.
My advice: participate in all the rounds of counselling till mop-up. You’ll get a clearer picture of available seats, and you should have a fair chance.
Hello Aspirant,
A woman OBC candidate scoring 322 in RPVT is very safe above the OBC qualifying cutoff of 147. She can now participate in counselling because she has qualified. Being qualified does not mean she is admitted but with 322 marks she has a very high chance of obtaining a payment (self-funded) seat at a government veterinary college at counselling— as long she registers, enters her preferred college correctly, and eventually attends the counselling rounds. It is important to follow all the steps of choice filling, documents verification, and payment of fees for admission confirmation.
Hello,
Yes, you will be able to transfer into the second year of college under a process called lateral entry. But still this process depends on many things, like your ability to pass the first year, the college transfer policy, and potential vacancies. If you can come up with a valid reason and have good academics, you surely get a lateral entry in the second year of the college.
I hope it will clear your query!!

Hey Amit! With 250 marks in NEET under the SC category (Uttar Pradesh), chances in government colleges are very low because the cut-off for SC category is generally around 420–490+.
However, in private medical colleges in UP, especially under the management quota, admission is possible. Some colleges you can try:
Subharti Medical College, Meerut
Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki / Sitapur
KD Medical College, Mathura
Naraina Medical College, Kanpur
United Institute of Medical Sciences, Muzaffarnagar
SASTRA University commonly provides concessions and scholarships based on merit in class 12 board exams and JEE Main purposes with regard to board merit you need above 95% in PCM (or on aggregate) to get bigger concessions, usually if you scored 90% and above you may get partial concessions. I suppose the exact cut offs may change yearly on application rates too.
