Marks
Hello,
For NORCET-10 (AIIMS Nursing Officer exam), selection happens in two stages, Prelims and Mains.
Stage 1: Prelims
It’s a qualifying test to shortlist candidates for the Mains exam.
Cutoff is based on percentile score (not total marks)
UR/EWS: 50th percentile
OBC: 45th percentile
SC/ST: 40th percentile
So, even if total marks vary each year, you must score above your category’s percentile to clear Prelims.
Stage 2: Mains
Final selection depends on your Mains marks.
Minimum qualifying marks:
UR/EWS: 50%
OBC: 45%
SC/ST: 40%
The final merit list is prepared based on your Mains score and seat availability. Hope you understand.
No, you don’t need to change your father’s name in your Aadhaar card just because there’s no space (Ram Prasad and Ramprasad).
Minor spelling or spacing differences are not treated as major mismatches; both are considered the same name in most official verifications. If the spelling and pronunciation are clearly the same, it usually won’t cause any issue in exams, counselling, or government documents.
Keep using one consistent format (like the one in your 10th marks memo) in all future applications to avoid confusion. Only update Aadhaar if your school, college, or verification authority specifically asks for it.
Hope you understand.
No, you don’t need to change your Aadhaar for this. Small differences like a space in your father’s name usually don’t cause problems. You can use your documents as they are.
If a particular application asks for exact match, you can carry both documents and explain the difference.
Changing Aadhaar is optional unless you want it to exactly match your marks memo.
Hope it helps !
You need a total score of 135+ marks out of 180 in the NMMS exam for a strong chance of selection in the general category merit list. Though the minimum qualifying mark is 72, the selection cutoff is much higher due to competition.
For VNSGU LL.B:
You need at least 50% marks in each subject (combined internal + external) to pass.
To qualify overall, your aggregate must also be 50% or above in the semester.
For admission eligibility:
General: 45% in graduation
OBC: 42%
So, to clear LL.B at VNSGU, score 50% in every subject and 50% overall each semester.
To get a CSE seat in VIT Vellore, you need a very high rank, ideally within the top 1000 ranks, which requires scoring over 100 marks in the VITEEE exam. The exact marks and rank needed vary by category, but the top categories have the highest cutoffs for CSE. Also, you can check VITEEE Cutoffs for more info.
I hope it will clear your query!!
You should enter your mother’s name as per your Aadhaar card , which is Shaik Nazima Begum .
The JEE application is verified mainly with your Aadhaar details, so it’s better to keep it the same to avoid mismatch.
There will be no big problem if there is a small difference like “Begum” added, but it’s good to keep all documents matching in the future. You can update your school records or Aadhaar later to make them the same everywhere.
Hey,
You would need to score around 90-92% which is approximately 120-150+ in marks. For OBC/EWS, it is around 88-90%, while for SSC/CT is around 60-70%. But for a safer bet, you should aim for a higher percentile, about a 95+ percentile, to stay safe and for admission in the first round.
Hope it helps!!!
Hello, Yes, based on your 389 marks, you fulfill the 75% criteria.
Don't worry about the 'Total Marks 355' (which is 71%). JEE (NTA/JoSAA) calculates the aggregate differently, using the top 5 subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Maths, one Language, and the 5th best subject.
Your 389 (which is 77.8%) is the correct calculation according to this rule, making you eligible. Also, remember that you are eligible even if you don't meet 75%, as long as you are in the Top 20 Percentile of your board.
I hope you found this information helpful and for any study related queries you can ask in careers360 app, Have a great day!
