considering from a placement point of view you should prefer cse>it>ece>electrical>mechanical.this is because of the current boom in it sector of the country. however you can also go for a particular branch if you have a deep passion in it.

Hi Suman, congratulations for your admission in the college. In the first sem, you'll be mainly taught basic subjects like Physics, Maths and Chemistry. Along with these, one of the main subjects will be computer language: C. Of you've studied the same in school, it's really good but if not, and if you want to do something, you can take classes for the same in these vacations.

Now for MIET:

Placements: The placements of our college are average. Almost 54 students from computer science and engineering and information technology got placed in Wipro. There are many companies that visiting our college for placements like Wipro, Bosch, etc. Internships are also good at our college.

Infrastructure : Our campus is fully equipped Wi-Fi, and the classrooms are clean. There are a huge number of books in our library which is well-maintained, fully facilitated with AC and open for 7 hours. Medical facilities are also available in our college, and one ambulance service is allocated to students. The canteen is the place where no one will remain hungry, and they provide excellent quality assurance food products. The hostels are also clean, discipline is maintained. Nobody fights in the hostel.

Faculty : Teachers and faculty members are very helpful towards the students. They work hard with the students. They are well-educated and have well-defined methods of teaching. The number of male teachers is more than that of female teachers. Till now there is no industry exposure provided in the college.

Other : There are many events held in the college from time to time.

So now think, is it good or bad on your points of view.

You have a decent score , but it's very tough to get MIET, Jammu with your branch choice. So make some other preferences set of colleges.

Miet has more placement than all college in Meerut but study and infrastructure is good of bit Meerut . And placement of bit is also good

The hostels are available easily. separate hostels are here for boys and girls food is very good and the cost of the food here is also fair.
