Hello candidate.As you mentioned that your rank is 27700 there might be a chance of getting mechanical engineering.The most important thing is that getting an admission in engineering college is mainly based on your category.As you didn't mention your category we cannot say that you can get admission in mechanical engineering in mepco.

I am assuming that you are asking if, for final counseling, the percentile score or marks or ranks would be considered for admission into different colleges and universities of engineering through the JEE examinations.

For final admission, your rank would be considered for admission. You will know your final result after the conduction of the April session of the JEE exam.

Hi Balaji,

The score is on the verge. I wouldn't say its hard but still the chances are okay. The mark cant guarantee a seat. You can give it a try but I advise you to have backup.

Both the colleges have same ratings and are also affiliated with the same university.  So, there is not much difference between both the colleges but still , MSEC has a little edge over BAC.
