I obtained AIR 15k in Neet PG 2025, AU Region, Andhra Pradesh, BC-D category, Female. Are there any chances to get Pedia or OBGY in a governement colleges?

Abhilasha Agrawal 31st Aug, 2025

With an AIR of 15,000 in NEET PG 2025, BC-D category, your chances of getting Pediatrics or OBGY in Andhra Pradesh government colleges are very low. Previous year cutoffs for these specialties were usually under AIR 7,000–9,000 for BC categories. You may have better chances in private or semi-government colleges. Consider opting for other specialties with lower cutoffs if you aim for a government seat. DNB programs in private hospitals are another alternative. Always check official state counseling trends before deciding.

Anshika Gupta 11th Sep, 2025

The information bulletin (often called a brochure) for NEET-PG 2025 was released in April 2025 and is not sent to individual emails. Instead, it must be downloaded from the official website of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). So you can visit their official website and download from there. If you are still experiencing issues, you should contact the NBEMS helpdesk directly.

Why are asking to pay extra for state councelling when I had already paid for both the neet pg all india and state councelling

Abhilasha Agrawal 2nd Sep, 2025

Even if you paid for NEET PG all-India counseling, state counseling usually requires a separate fee. This is because state authorities manage their own seat allotment and verification. The fees cover administrative costs specific to the state quota. All-India (15%) and state quota (85%) are treated separately, so payments don’t overlap. Sometimes part of the all-India fee may be refundable, but the state fee is for state processing.

I have an AIR score of 324 in neet pg and i have a domicile of jammu and kashmir. I am ST with 1 year in hard reach area service, what will be my rank in jammu and kashmir and what can i expect at this score?

Nikita shahi 25th Aug, 2025

Hello,

With such a high AIR (324) plus ST category + service quota, you’re in a very strong position. In J&K state counselling, you’ll likely be among the top few in your category. You can expect to get clinical branches in govt. medical college.

i have already paid for neet pg predictor but its asking me again to pay

Chelsie G 25th Aug, 2025

If you have already paid for the NEET PG predictor but it is still asking you to pay again, make sure you are logging in with the same email ID that you used while making the payment. If you log in with a different email ID, the system will not recognize your payment and will ask you to pay again.

can you predict DNB general merit courses for 5931 rank in NEET PG 2025?

Nikita shahi 25th Aug, 2025

Hello aspirant,

With rank ~5931, you have decent chances for DNB General courses (especially in non-clinical & some para-clinical) in good hospitals. Likely branches you may get:

  • DNB Anaesthesia
  • DNB Pediatrics (in peripheral institutes)
  • DNB General Medicine/Obstetrics (in smaller hospitals or in later rounds)

You should definitely secure a decent clinical branch in DNB by 2nd/3rd round.

Does 2025 neet pg also have state quota as well

Chelsie G 25th Aug, 2025

Yes, NEET PG 2025 will also have a state quota along with the All India Quota. Just like every year, 50% of seats in government medical colleges are reserved for AIQ and the remaining 50% are allotted under the state quota.

Under the state quota, seats are filled by the respective state counselling authorities, and eligibility is mostly limited to candidates who belong to or have studied in that state. This means after qualifying NEET PG, you can participate in both All India Counselling conducted by MCC and State Counselling conducted by your state’s authority.

I want neet pg but I fill ug by mistake

Shivani Chaurasia 7th Sep, 2025

Hii anas!

I can understand such mistakes can happen sometimes. For NEET pg 2025 the official correction window was open from June 20 to June 22 which may have allowed you to edit details like academic qualifications, date of birth, gender, pwd/EWS status and upload corrections to photos or signatures. But, unfortunately some fields like category, nationality, email, mobile number and test city were uneditable.

So, if you accidentally selected UG instead of PG and missed correction window there is no official way to change it now.

However, you need to remember that mistakes are made by humans and you are not alone, many would have faced similar issues. It's still worth reaching out to the exam authorities to explain the situation maybe they can offer you guidance or advice.

If that doesn't work you can focus on preparing for next NEET PG cycle ensuring all details are double checked before submission. Be careful next time and stay updated.

Thankyou
