Since 2016, NIFT has placed a restriction on aspirants with respect to the number of masters programs they can apply for postgraduation. You can apply to only one masters program during each admissions season

If with seat vacancies, the cutoffs reduce to your rank in the first counselling, you will be informed that you are selected.
In the meanwhile, you should definitely opt for 2nd and subsequent rounds in case cutoffs aren't lowered.
