I am sorry to tell that with a rank about 1 lakh 72 thousand it is not possible for you to get NIT Kurukshethra even if you belong to general ews category.Hence try for some other colleges or give some other entrance examinations properly.Hope you understood.Thank You.

You didn't specify the branch you are planning to take admission.

You have very less chance based on previous year cutoff.

But the closing rank for production engineering last year was 3114.That means you have chances depending on the branch.

Anyway the cutoff may vary depending on various factors

I feel sorry to inform you that with this rank you cannot get the admission at NIT KURUKSHETRA (even if you posses home state quota). But I will suggest you to work hard for the next examination that is JEE ADVANCE. So that you can secure a descent rank there.

I hope CSE the better one to take. According to present situations, there are more chances of getting into good companies(placements) through CSE. Now a days more companies are preferring the students who are good at communication skills, coding. Mainly companies choose a higher number of CSE
