I have 709 NRI sponsored rank in CLAT(2019). Do I have a chance of getting in NLUs?

abhikshaw100_9176398 Student Expert 16th Jun, 2019

Hey Satwik,

NRI sponsored rank is secured by those students who have applied under NRI sposnored quota. You have secured a good rank for admission, but it all depends upon the cutoff ranks declared by the NLUs for NRI sposnored students..You can expect your seat to be alloted in the following NLUs:-

  • NLU,Madhya Pradesh
  • WBNUJS,West Bengal
  • NLU,Rajasthan
  • HNLU,Chattisgarh
  • GNLU,Gujarat
  • CNLU,Bihar
  • NLUO,Odisha

This is just a tentative list. You can check it here from the link https://law.careers360.com/clat-college-predictor.

Best of Luck!

I got AIR 14 in PwD category, in which NLUs can I get admission?

Parvesh Bansal 22nd Jun, 2019

Hi Raghav,

Your rank is really good and many congratulations on that. You will get into either NALSAR, WBNUJS, HNLU,  NLIU Bhopal and RMLNLU. If you have not been allotted any seat in the first round itself then in the upcoming rounds you will definitely get into one of the above mentioned NLU.

My ST catagory rank is 120. Any chance of getting into middle tier NLUs?

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 15th Jun, 2019

With the rank you're mentioning, if you fall in ST category then I'm afraid you have less chances of getting into the middle tier NLUs but you have little chances of getting the newer NLUs like Jabalpur, if you have the state domicile.

But there are other good colleges you can look out for like

  • VIPS
  • Ideal Institute of Management and Technology
  • Fairfield Institute of Management and Technology
  • Narsee Monjee University
  • UPES Dehradun
  • KIIT Bhubaneswar
  • Symbiosis law school
  • Jindal law school

Apart from that you can check out the colleges you can get with your rank using the following link

Good luck
