i scored 78%,95%,90%,90% in my high school.i scored 1550 in sat.i feel like my high school grades are not so good.i have a little bit of extra cirricular activities.i didnt qualify for exams like kvpy,ntse,iit etc.so how are my chances of getting into Carnegie Melon university for undergraduation??

Well the grades are decent enough. Also the sat score is really good. Focus on framing a very strong motivation letter and answer the questions with complete honesty and integrity. Also try to get good recommendation letter from your academic counselor and then you will be good to go.

NTSE examination is conducted into two stages, and the candidate must pass in stage 1 to qualify for second stage. The stage 1 examination does not consists of negative marking whereas stage 2 examination does.

Hello,

In order to appear for stage 2, you have to score minimum qualifying marks in the stage 1 exam. All the states release the NTSE cut off for their respective states and one candidate has to obtain section-wise and category-wise cutoff to get selected for the stage 2 exam

I am an obc cl I have given ntse stage 1 through obc but in stage 2 its asking for obc ncl certificate and I dont have one but on my admit card its written obc (just obc) so I automatically fall under general ??

Ive filled the form for ntse and have given the stage 1 examination through obc ncl category. But now I got to know that I am in creamy layer. What should i do as i have to submit obc ncl certificate in stage 2 but Ill not be having one that time, as my current one will be invalid by that time?

the expected cutoff of ntse kerala for stage 2 is 130- 140 for obc candidates. the chances for releasing the cutoff by the authorized exam controller is last week of February 2021 on scert.kerala.gov.in. however last year 2020 cutoff for obc was 142, where is 2018- 2019 was 128.
