Hello Dear Student,
No, further modifications in Category is not allowed in NEET-UG Counselling, not even in State Counselling. The Category which you have filled during the Registration of NTA NEET-UG Registration that will be valid for your whole Admission procedure, Verification usually done by Admit Card of the NEET-UG and Score Card/Rank letter of NEET-UG exam.
So if your Category is General in your in NTA NEET-UG Application form, Admit Card and Result, then it's your Only Valid Category, now you can change it and you can not opt for EWS.

Hi
Neet eligibility criteria says that, to be eligible you must have passed in English and in both the theory and practical of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually with at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination if belong to general category , or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st
Now you are from general category and
Your aggregate in PCB is
= 53.6% i. e more than 50% so you are definitely eligible for neet 2021 examination with your marks
Also,
Minimum age limit is 17 years old ,so to be eligible for neet 2021 , so you have to be at least 17 years old by 31st December 2021

Now regarding your documents, you will need to upload the scanned documents of your 10th and 12th marks sheets. So you ma have to reach out to the College administration asking for documents for a day or 2. Most Colleges take an undertaking stating that you will return the originals in a day or 2. Once you submit this letter, they will give you the original documents. You can get them scanned and xeroxed and keep a few copies with you for future reference. And during Counselling, you can request the College for the original documents and they will give them. So there is nothing to be worried about it.
Dear aspirant,
It would be advisable to use the same passport size photo (name and date mentioned on it ) during MBBS admission counselling process as used in NEET application form.
As most college authorities find it comfortable to match the candidate's photo with what has been uploaded in application. This reduces the chance of ambiguity and confusion .
But if you don't have that photo at the time of counselling then make sure that the photo you use should not differ very much from the photo which is on NEET application form.
Actually it is quite impossible to shift category like this. You appeared in NEET with general category and now as the results have been declared, you have only general category rank. There is no OBC rank in your result.
So it is not possible for you to shift category in the midway. You have to proceed with general category.
Hope you understand. Good luck.
Hi Aspirant,
First of all, there is no distinction between State EWS and central EWS. there is a common list and criteria.
In case you have applied NEET Application form mentioning UR category, then for counselling as well you will have to proceed with the same criteria. Even for state counselling, your category should be taken as "UR".
