I am born in December 2008 ,will I be eligible to write neet exam in 2025

Aakanksha 28th Aug, 2022
Hi aspirant
The eligibility criteria for NEET examination is as follows
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Class 12 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible to apply for NEET.

  • Candidates must have completed 17 years as on December 31 of the year the examination is held.

As you are going to give NEET 2025, and you are 2008 born, you'll attain the age of 17 years in December 2025, which makes you 100% eligible for the NEET examination.

Hope this helps
All the best :)

There is a difference of 4 years between 10th and 12th can I give neet exam?

Aakanksha 1st Sep, 2022

Hi aspirant

Yes. You are absolutely eligible for NEET examination. This gap between your 10th and 12th doesn't matter. However you'll need to produce a gap certificate in order to present it to the college authorities during admission.

The eligibility criteria for NEET 2023 is as follows:

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board.
  • Class 12 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible to apply for NEET.
  • Candidates must have completed 17 years as on December 31, 2023
  • The upper age limit has been removed and anyone can apply for the medical entrance ex am
  • The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2023 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45%
  • There are no restrictions on the maximum NEET attempt limit 2023.

Hope this helps you

i completed my 10th from up and now im studying in 12th class in delhi i living with my uncle ihave documents also like adhar card of delhi but my parents currently lived in up they have their documents of up so can i eligible to give neet exam from both the side or which one should i choos

Aakanksha 2nd Sep, 2022

Hi aspirant

In order to be eligible for admission under the 85% quota seats in the Delhi University, you need to have your 11th and 12th standard from any recognised board in Delhi. Since you have completed your 11th from Delhi and are in 12th grade in Delhi too, you are eligible for admission to Delhi 85% quota seats.

The applicant’s parents have to be a permanent resident of the State, or the applicant has to reside in the State for 3 or more years.

Since your parents live in UP, you are eligible for admission under the 85% UP state quota seats.

Hope this helps you.

All the best. :)

Neet exam 2022 381 score SC category can I give bams government college in Maharashtra

rajeevanand843 28th Aug, 2022

Dear aspirant

Cut off marks are tend to change every year based on various factors like difficulty level, number of candidates appeared, seat availability etc and it's quite tough to tell about chances unless the results are out and we know ranks.

Lowest cutoff marks for govt BAMS college for SC category in Maharashtra state quota counseling was AIR 213837 and 384 marks and college allotted was KTRA BORADI, shirpur- dhule .

So it's very hard to tell about your chances although you are on borderline and if ranks doesn't varies much then you will have some chances to get bams college in Maharashtra state quota counseling.

You might try following colleges as they had  cut off range 380-400 marks and your chances will high in those colleges.

  • KTRA BORADI, SHIRPUR-DHULE
  • DMMAM, YAVATMAL
  • VAM, AMRAVATI
  • VDP AC SM ROAD, Sangli
  • BS AC, SAWANTWADI

so try in above mentioned college till mop up or stray vaccancy round you might get a govt seat in those BAMS college in Maharashtra state quota counseling. Note this is  just information based on previous data.

can I get admission in bams with 70 marks in neet exam

Sijal Siddiqui 25th Aug, 2022

Hi,

the minimum NEET UG 2022 cut off percentile for the general category to qualify for the entrance exam is 50th i.e. you need to have a minimum of 147 marks to be deemed as 'passed'.

So, you are not even qualifying the neet exam let alon admission in bams.

It must be noted that, for  admission to mbbs, bams, b.u.m.s or other courses, you need to clear the given cutoff for your preferred college no matter if it is a government college or private college.

the neet exam was over on 17 july 2022. will my admit card be rejected now when i have already got the conformation page ?

piyush263001 24th Aug, 2022

Hello,

The confirmation page that you received was released by NTA before the Date of Examination, hence it has nothing to do with you submitting an incomplete Admit Card ( as you have mentioned in your earlier queries that you submitted Admit Card without pasting Pasport size photograph).

Since you have submitted your incomplete Admit Card and it was accepted by the invigilator at your Exam Centre, then it is very likely that you will get your result. So you shouldn't worry. Also you have filled all other details properly and have pasted the postcard size photo, so hopefully your result will be declared.

------ If the invigilator had refused to submit your incomplete Admit Card, then it was almost certain that you wouldn't get result, but that is not the case.

For any clarification/ assistance you can write to National Testing Agency, NTA at following mailing address -

neet@nta.ac.in (mailto:neet@nta.ac.in)

or call at helpline number -
