in neet exam i got 502 marks , any chance to get govt college in mbbs

Karishma Sawhney 23rd Aug, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Since you haven’t mentioned your category, I assume it is general. Your profile suggests that you belong to West Bengal so here is a cut off range for the NEET 2021 exam for government medical college in West Bengal-

The last seat of a government medical college was allotted to a candidate of general category at 572 marks and the rank was 32740. The college allotted was Maharaja Jitendra Narayan Medical College and Hospital, Coochbehar.

At this score, it is highly unlikely to get a government medical college.
However you can get the following private colleges in West Bengal-

IQ City Medical College

Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences

Gouri Devi Institute of Medical Sciences

ICare Institute of Medical Sciences, Haldia

Please note that the cut-off varies every year depending on various factors such as the category of the student, number of students attempting the paper, number of newly opened colleges, etc.

You can also use the college predictor tool to know your chances of admission to a college/course- https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor

Hello parijat,
Self doubt is a part of journey and you will face it from time to time. But don't let that block you.
Whatever you have done in past doesn't determine your future. There are many aspirants they have scored marks even lesser than yours , and in their next attempt they have ended up scoring 680+ and got into the most reputed Medical colleges of the country and you can do it as well. You can do it as well. You just need to be disciplined and keep on giving mock test , analyse your mistakes and correct them.

hii sir ,mera physics mein 59 , bio mein 75 , chemistry mein 53 hai aur English mein 42,aur mein general category se belong karta hun kya mein neet exam de paunga?? agar mein neet exam diya agar crack bhi kar liya admission ke time pe koi problem hoga kya.. English mark ke liye ,English.. ke bare m

rajeevanand843 19th Aug, 2022

Dear aspirant

First of all individual subject marks is not checked in any competitive exams as well as neet also,so you don't need to worry about your English marks. As you have scored 42 marks which you passed that subject successfully.

For NEET eligibility criteria only aggregate marks are needed.

The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2022 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects

  • UR - 50%,

  • OBC/SC/ST - 40%,

  • PWD - 45%

As you have got 62.33 ( 59+75+53 = 187×100/300) aggregate marks in your PCB subject, which is above NEET UG eligibility criteria and you fulfill that.

You will never face any problems during taking admission in any govt medical College or counseling time i can guarantee you. So instead of thinking about all this stuff, you need to prepare hard and to score well enough to get a govt seat.

Hii sir mam mujhe bataiye plz mera physics mein 59 ,bio mein 75 , chemistry mein 53 aur English mein 42 marks hai aur mein general category se belong karta hun. mein neet exam de paunga ya nhi , agar mein neet crack kar liya admision ke time English mark ki wajah se koi problem hogi... kya.. plz.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Aug, 2022

Hi

Yes, you are eligible for neet examination.

This is because,

To be eligible for neet, you need to pass  12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-

  • at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

  • at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

Now,

Considering your category as general

Your aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  is

= 49    + 53  + 75

=    187 marks

=( 187/  300  x  100 )%

= 62.3 % i. e more than 50% so you are definitely eligible  for neet   examination  .

To be eligible only your pcb aggregate matters, in English you should have at least passed it, which you already have with your mentioned marks, so nothing to worry and you won't face any problem in counselling /admission due to your english marks.

Also,

-----------)  Age limit :-

  • Lower age limit:- to be eligible for neet  one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December in the year of appearing for the examination .

  • Upper age limit :-No upper age limit is there

-----------) There's no attempt limit for neet.

Aakanksha 19th Aug, 2022
Hi aspirant
NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance examination is an entrance examination is conducted for admission to medical courses ( MBBS,BDS and AYUSH courses).
Candidates holding an NCC certificate do not get any additional advantage in NEET. You'll have to qualify for the examination and score for admission to government medical colleges. Your admission will solely depend on your All India Rank (AIR).
Hope this helps

I passed 12th in 2020 . I attempted neet exam in 2020, 2021 and then in 2022 . Is gap certificate mandatory in my case , if yes ,how to get its format , and whom signature will be required????

rajeevanand843 18th Aug, 2022

Dear aspirant

It's depends on college and state, GAP certificate is not needed everywhere.

Although you can make one very easily and it's not gonna cost you much. Just simply Google gap certificate performa see some images whichever you feel okay just save it.

Then visit your nearest civil court/collectorate, there you will get stamp paper, which you can buy costing Rs50 or Rs 100 stamp paper, you can ask the same from the stamp paper vendor that you have to make gap certificate which will work.

After buying the stamp paper,go to typewriter there are many sitting there, you can ask them to type the perform matter on the stamp paper with your details wherever needed. After doing this ask typewriter where you can get nottarry and visit anyone ( you will find many simply seating there) they will put there stamp which have there registration number and all and they will sign that.

This is all you have to do, this will take almost 1-2 hrs or less than that and you will be cost around Rs 200-300 depending on charges of every person.

That paper will affidavit and work anywhere as gap certificate, wherever you needed you can submit the same.

i am appeared 2022 NEET Exam. i am female and BC-D caste. In key i am getting 450 marks. Is there any chance to get MBBS Seat in A category in telangana state.

Sachin Kumar Bharati 17th Aug, 2022

Neither the answer key nor the result of NEET-2022 has come. And this time the NEET level is a bit tough too. And this time the expected cutoff is expected to be between 420-490. And if the cutoff remains according to this estimate then you will definitely get selected.
