With a score of 286 marks, you are unlikely to be eligible for admission to a government medical college If you are from general category then irrespective of the state you have to score 610+ marks (until or unless you belongs to North eastern state where you can get selected

I score 163 in neet 2024 can i get a private bams college

mjaisinghani62 17th Jun, 2024

Hello aspirant

Sorry to say but 163 In neet is very low score, with this score you won't get bams seat .

This year neet cut off is high . Cut off changes every year abd depends upon factors such as number of candidates appeared in exam,  Toughness level of exam,  seat intake and previous year's cut off.

If you belong to general category then neet qualifying percentile For general category candidate is 50th percentile ie 720 - 164.

Looking at this range you are not qualified.

my rank is 477 on sls hyderabad will i get a seat?

Shambhavi shambhavi 30th Dec, 2024

With a rank of 477 in SLSD Hyderabad, you may have a chance of getting a seat, depending on the specific course and the competition in that year. Popular courses like Law might have a higher cutoff, so it’s best to check previous years' cutoffs for a better idea. Also, keep track of the counseling process for more accurate information.

Im from tripura and got 575 marks in neet . I want to can I get in any govt medical college?

kumardurgesh1802 14th Oct, 2024

Hello there,

With 575 marks in NEET and being from Tripura , you have a good chance of securing a seat in a government medical college through both the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and the 85% State Quota .

Your chances:

  1. All India Quota (15%) : With 575 marks, you have a decent chance of getting a seat in government medical colleges in some states, though competition is high.

  2. State Quota (85%) : In Tripura, with 575 marks, you stand a strong chance of getting a seat in government medical colleges , as the cutoff for state quota tends to be lower than the AIQ.

It’s essential to participate in both AIQ and State counseling to maximize your chances.

Hi...tamilnadu is my native and Ive studied till 2nd there and now Im planning to join in Tamilnadu for 11th and 12th and also pass in NEET there itself..Will I be able to get a mbbs seat in Tamilnadu or Karnataka ?

Ishita 30th Aug, 2024

Hello Aspirant

Yes, you can definitely pursue MBBS in Tamil Nadu or Karnataka after completing your 11th and 12th there.

Here's a breakdown of the process:

Ensure you have completed your 11th and 12th standard with the required subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English) from a recognized board in Tamil Nadu.

Since you've studied in Tamil Nadu, you'll be eligible to appear for the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) exam. NEET is the common entrance exam for medical admission in India. Both Tamil Nadu and Karnataka have state quotas for medical admissions, which can increase your chances of securing a seat if you belong to the respective state.

Hope this helps

NEET UG marks 638 All india RAnk 40170 state Jharkhand Category-Generalwhat is the chance of government Medical college in Jharkhand or All in India Quota. By when State Rank will be out

kumardurgesh1802 25th Oct, 2024

Hello Smita,

With a NEET UG score of 638 and an All India Rank of 40,170 in the General category, you have a good chance of securing a seat in a government medical college in Jharkhand or through the All India Quota.

Typically, the cutoffs for government medical colleges vary by year, but with your score, you are likely to be competitive for many colleges, especially in Jharkhand. For instance, previous years' trends indicate that candidates with scores above 600 have had a favorable chance of admission in various state and central government medical colleges.

Regarding the release of the state rank, it usually takes a few weeks after the NEET results are declared. You can expect the state ranks for Jharkhand to be published soon after the completion of the counseling process, typically within a month.

For the most accurate updates on cutoffs and admission processes, it's advisable to consult the official Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) website or the official NEET counseling website.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

i got 489 marks out 720 in neet 2024 and my general ews category rank is 29128. Do i get any govt medical college if yes then name please.

mjaisinghani62 6th Jun, 2024

Hello aspirant

You have scored good marks .

489 is a quite good score.  Being from ews candidate you may get a medical seat in government college but which college you will be alloted depends  upon cut off neet 2024.  Cut off changes every year and depends upon factors including number of candidates,  difficulty level of exam,  seat intake and previous year's cut off.

For ews candidates  neet qualifying percentile For general ews candidates is 163 - 146

Now looking at this cut off and analysing previous year's cut off you have chances of getting government college

You may try in

Aiims delhi

Madras medical college

Grant government medical college , mumbai

Aiims Bhubaneswar

can a general ews student get govt seat of homeopathy ayurveda or physiotherapy or bds with 329 marks?

SHUBHANGI SINHA 30th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Depending on the state and particular college cutoffs, a General EWS applicant with 329 NEET scores may be able to obtain a government seat in Ayurveda, Homeopathy, or Physiotherapy, as well as perhaps in BDS. While AYUSH courses may have lower cutoffs, government BDS seats are often more competitive and require higher marks.
