Dear Aspirant,
With a VITMEE rank of 1010, your chances of securing admission in VLSI at VIT Vellore under Category 1 are quite strong. The expected cutoff for VLSI in Category 1 is generally around 10,000 or higher, so your rank comfortably falls within the safe zone. However, when it comes to Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), the competition is much stiffer. The typical Category 1 cutoff for core CSE at VIT Vellore is usually within the top 500–550 ranks. Since your rank is 1010, getting CSE under Category 1 is quite unlikely unless there are significant withdrawals or changes during the counseling process. You may, however, have a chance at getting into specialized CSE branches such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or Cybersecurity, where the cutoff tends to be slightly more relaxed, often ranging from 600 to 1500. It is advisable to prioritize VLSI in your counseling choices while also applying for other CSE specializations. Additionally, keeping an eye on Category 2 and 3 rounds could open up further opportunities, especially if seats are left vacant or higher-category students drop out. Overall, VLSI seems like a solid option at your rank, while CSE may require a bit of flexibility or a backup plan.

Dear aspirant,
A score of 159 is significantly below the expected cut offs for both governmental and private colleges. So it's unlikely to secure a seat in BDS in Vishnu Dental college. Admission to BDS program through NEET examination typically requires a higher score, generally above 400 in private colleges and 450-470 in governmental colleges. Though reseserved categories have lower cut offs but a score of 159 is even below that , so it's not enough to get a seat in Vishnu dental college for BDS.
Scoring 250 in NEET solely by focusing on Biology in just 11 days from scratch is an extremely challenging task. While it's not impossible, it would require an intense and highly focused study schedule. You would need to cover a vast amount of material in a short time and also ensure a deep understanding of the concepts.
It is highly unlikely to prepare the vast syllabus in such a short span. Rather, I recommend you to give NEET next year with much better preparation
Hope this helps,
Hope you are doing great.
Answering to your question ,
With a JEE rank of 700,000 and being from the ST category, your chances of securing admission to colleges through JEE Main are relatively lower, considering the competitive nature of the exam. However, there are still options available, particularly through counseling processes and reserved seats for ST category candidates. It's advisable to explore various colleges, consider state-level entrance exams, and research institutions that offer admissions based on other criteria besides JEE ranks. Additionally, you may also consider alternative pathways such as diploma courses or lateral entry programs.
