All the best.
Hello student. All the three universities are really good universities. But when it comes to placements and other opportunities, I would give GNDU -Guru nanak dev university in amritsar is the best one out of three.
Here are the factors you can consider:
Infrastructure and college life:
It has a wonderful infrastructure with well equipped labs and classrooms. Hostels are pretty decent and nice enviroment is always maintained. You can see that the campus life is going to be really well. College life is good with the right kind of atmosphere given to the students who come from different places.
F aculty and quality of education:
All the faculties are well qualified and experienced over here. And education, curriculum is made in such a way that students are made to acquire more hands on knowledge than just the theory. It is not just the books and classes. Focuses more on practical knowledge than the therotical one. Education quality and the way guidance is given is really good.
Placements:
Placements are really good as many good companies visit this college. Most of the students gets placed and opportunities of internship is provided to the students from wide range of companies.
According to our website, it is very good rated one.
When it comes to the order of preference. Here it is
1. guru nanak dev university, in amritsar
2. GNEC in ludhiana
3. Punjab university
Hey,
I think your University might be mentioned with the name Punjabi in the list. Kindly look for that and dont look for the whole name Punjabi University and if it's still not there kindly choose the others options and mention the name of your university separately. For more help you can contact the CAT helpline desk .

Hello Lovish
If you are interested in software field than you can choose ECM. Any further information please read this article you will know more about them.
B.Tech ECM- The main objective of ECM programme is to make the UG students equipped with required employment skills in both Software and Hardware industries. The present discipline of ECE deals with Hardware related aspects and Communication aspects in which Signal Analysis, Processing, Communication theories occupy major part of the curriculum. The courses like Signals & Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Probability Theory & Stochastic Processing, Micro Wave Engineering, Analog Communications, Digital Communications contribute to this knowledge. Though this programme is very good for the candidates intending to go for hardware industry and communications industry, it is not helping much to the student who are aspiring career in software industry.
HOPE THAT'S HELPFUL
Best of luck
Hi aspirant
If you got admission in ECM for b-tech then after first year you can change your branch as you want CSE. For changing the branch they check your attendance and results ( as the University want like 8.5 or 8.0 CGPA) .And it possible when your college have vacant seats for the branch you want otherwise not . Also you can get the chance to M-tech in CSE after pursue b-tech in any other branch. But that is difficult enough to give the gate exam in CSE as you doing b-tech in ECE.
I hope it helps you.
Best wishes.
