Science
Hello Aspirant,
Science students have multiple avenues available to them after Class 12, based on their individual interests and aspirational career path. Listed below are some of the more common choices:
Hello,
Students from the science stream have a lot of career options after completing their Class 12. Whether a student has taken Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM), or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB), there are numerous options available depending on the subject combination they are interested in.
Those who have a PCM can go for engineering (B.Tech/B.E), which is one of the most popular choices among students . There are many specialisations in PCM such as Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, and Aerospace. Apart from engineering, PCM students can also choose a BSc (Hons) in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Statistics.
While the students who studied PCB often opt for MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing or other medical related fields .But PCB doesn’t only mean becoming a doctor. There are many other courses like BSc Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, and Genetics which can lead to careers in research labs, the pharmaceutical industry, and public health. Many universities also offer entrance-based admission to paramedical or allied health science courses through CUET or their separate entrance exam.
If a student has taken both in their class 12 Maths and Biology (PCMB), they can choose from both engineering and medical-related courses. Additionally, they can explore options like Biomedical Engineering, Forensic Science, or Food Technology, which require knowledge from both areas.
There are also growing fields like Data Science, Nutrition & Dietetics, Psychology, and Environmental Studies, which are open to science students depending on their Class 12 subjects combination they have taken.Science stream provides flexibility. One can choose from technical, medical, research-oriented, or even non-traditional fields depending on interest and aptitude.

The expected cutoffs for a B.Sc. in Forensic Science vary by institution and are influenced by factors like the specific college, its location, and the competitiveness of the applicant pool.
Generally, reputable institutions may have cutoffs between 60% and 80% for the 12th standard.
Thanks
The D2D (Diploma to Degree) admission fee for Computer Science and Engineering varies by college.
Approximate Fee Structure:
Government Colleges: Rs.15,000 to Rs.50,000 per year.
Private Colleges: Rs.50,000 to Rs.1.5 lakh per year.
Note: Fees depend on the state and specific institution.
Hello Aspirant ,
A BSc Nursing graduate is generally not eligible for direct admission to an MSc in Food Science and Nutrition through the CPGET (Common Post Graduate Entrance Test) exam.
Otherwise,
You can get admission through CUET-PG, ICAR AIEEA-PG so on .
Hi dear candidate,
Yes, you can get admission in B.Tech 2nd year through lateral entry with either CUET or diploma merit in a private or government college. But you need to make sure that the specific college allows lateral admissions or not and also do check their policy regarding lateral entry as each institution has it's own requirement while the basic remains diploma in computers and CUET with relevant subjects for B.Tech along with marks above 50% aggregate.
