If i joined college after 1 month then can i clear 1st semester exam of btech civil engineering with good cgpa

kaustubhnitin1219 3rd Oct, 2020
Hey, considering your query, I would like to tell you that yes, you can clear your first semester exam with a decent to a good CGPA, even if you join in late. It all depends on how you study and try to cope up and cover all the syllabus that you missed out. If you manage to handle this efficiently then definitely you will score really well. Don't worry, just approach your respected faculties or subject experts and tell them to give you the revision of whatever you missed out and after this, make sure that you ask your queries to your faculties to avoid any confusion later. If you are comfortable asking doubts to your friends, then you can even do that. Hope this helps you out, best of luck. If there is anything that I can help you out with then please feel free to post your doubts here, I'll be happy to help you in all possible ways.
Good day!!

How many months before exam sufficient for preparing semester exam in civil engineering

priyanksaini318 30th Sep, 2020
Hi
This question is not ours to answer but yours to figure out on the basis of how faster you grasp concepts, do you even like the course you study, and what gpa you are expecting at the end of your course.
Colleges are fun, any of my advice here won't yield anything for you once you get in there.
Have a nice day

hello sir,i am Amrita nayak frm Bhadrak , odisha, now i am bsc finallier in chemistry hons and gave 6 th semester this yrr but due to covid our last paper has postponed, but one problem is sir,i miss my 5 th semester exam due to my bad health condition ,is it possible to apply ibps po or clerk form ?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 11th Aug, 2020

Hello,

Candidates who have passed their bachelor's degree from a recognised board and candidates who are in their final year of qualifying exam are eligible to apply for IBPS PO 2020. Candidates who are in their final year must obtain their results on or before August 28, 2020. You still need to appear in one exam in 6th semester and you still have to pass in the subjects of 5th semester. Your results might not be released on or before August 28, 2020. So you are not eligible to apply for it. But if you obtain your results by August 28, 2020 you can apply if you pass your bachelor's degree

Due to corona virus my College didnt take the end semester exam of 2nd year and also hasnt promoted in the 3rd year. So technically i am still in 2nd yaer but if the situations had been normal i Would be pursuing the 3rd year. Am i still eligible for CAT ?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 11th Aug, 2020

Amisha, CAT registration will stop by September 16th, 2020. And the exam is on November 29th, 2020. And we are in August where in your 2nd year exams haven't been conducted yet. But atleast by November, the College would have to take a call either to promote you or conduct the exams. So hypothetically, your 2nd year would be completed by November and you would be in your Final year of graduation. Now, even if CAT results have been declared in January and the admissions start in March or April, you will be still technically in your final semester of your 3rd year. So what you will need at that point in time is a Final year Affidavit signed either by your Principal or HOD stating that you are currently in your Final year and for now, you fulfil the eligibility criteria. Here is the link of that affidavit: https://cdn.digialm.com//per/g01/pub/756/ASM/WebPortal/17/PDF/Final_Year_Certificate_2020.pdf So fill up the CAT application form because calculating the dates, you are eligible for CAT. Ayush Pandey 10th Jul, 2020
Hello,

It totally depends on the authorities of college,HRD ministry. Some governments have already cancelled the semester exams in their states.

But as in a letter to Union Higher Education Secretary home ministry permitted the conduct of examinations by Universities and Institutions, their are higher chances of exams to be conducted.

Best of luck!

I have score in an average of 58% in both 10th and 12th. I am hoping to join for computer science in NIST Berhampur. Will get the campus according to that or depending to the semester exam.

Suvakanta Sahu 12th Aug, 2020

Dear Swapni ,

I would happy to say that im also ex-student of National Institute of Science and technology batch 2015-2019 the reality was if you had 58 percentage in 12th then campus placements is very crucial for you because most of 80% companies criteria is 12th score more then 60% then only you will able to attended the campus drive and semester exams result mostly not effect on your campus placements and off campus drive also mostly similar criteria.

I hope it will helpful.

Thanks
