Most of the seats in SSN are filled through TNEA, in which only your cutoff marks are considered. If you're of General category, then you won't get Chemical in SSN through TNEA, as the cutoff for OP is 194.5. You can try for the management seats. Check their website for more details. The cutofff will be different for different categories.

Thanks for approaching us. To get a seat in SSN Chennai you should have a good PCM cutoff of 190+
The admissions are based on Anna University Counselling and it totally depends on your PCM cutoff.

With a cutoff mark of 178.5, you can get any of the branches available branches in ST. Joseph's college. The average cutoff is around 100, while the highest is for CS - 176. This is for OC, and it changes according to the category.
