Hii Yash
The Selection for veterinary colleges for the 15% All India quota seat is done through AIPVT. The seat allocation will be done from the Mark's obtained in NEET UG 2019 only. So there is no other option to participate in the counselling of AIPVT. But You can check for state veterinary colleges to the state you belong if available.
Hello Yash,
Admission to most veterinary colleges is given on the basis of results obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the concerned universities. Veterinary Council of India conducts an (AIPVT) for admission to first year of Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) & Animal Husbandry (AH) degree course for filling up seats of each veterinary college of all states including colleges like Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Bihar Veterinary College, Patna, Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi, Bombay Veterinary Science College, Mumbai, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner. This Entrance exam is usually held in the month of May each year.
The duration of this course including Animal Husbandry is of 5 years (including internship) like in Veterinary College and Research Institute, Namakkal, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner, Rajendra Agricultural University, Samastipur and of 3 years without AH as in Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi, National Research Centre on Mithun, Dimapur, Bombay Veterinary Science College, Mumbai. Although it is suggested to go for both B.V.Sc. and AH as it widens up the level of a veterinarian in terms of getting better job opportunities and experience.

The cut-off for selection is determined on several factors such as the number of applications, Seats on offer, Difficulty level of the examination, and the category wise criteria. The other important Criteria for selection is atleast 50% of marks in PCB from any recognised Board.
