AIPVT offers vetenary course in colleges through AIQ which is 15% for which in 2018 the minimum marks required was 561. Even for BDS through state quota the minimum marks required was 481.

Your marks are not enough to fetch you any government college either through state

Hello Shahistha, 

Admissions in veterinary college would require higher ranks. Your ranking, 47k seems to be insufficient. A ranking within 8k would be better. Even with reservations, one would require ranking within 10k. Keep your options open.

Admission to veterinary colleges can be done through the exams. You can write the KCET exam. There is even an entrance exam for BV.Sc. You can write these exams. Admission to veterinary college can be also done through NEET exam.

Hi Nadella.

It depends on which category you belong to. For general category more than 500 marks is needed for admission into government Medical colleges in AP. For the BCA,BCB,BCC,BCD categories above 420 is needed. For SC ST , the cut off will be even lesser.

Sorry to disappoint you but the last rank to get admission in veterinary college was 301707 in the reserved category last year.

So chances of you getting a seat for the same are unlikely or very less under general category. Also, some states conduct their own entrance exam for veterinary

The rank you have mentioned is really not enough to get admission in a veterinary college. Admissions in a veterinary college would require a ranking within the range of 8k or so without reservation. Since you have reservation , you can only hope your admission if your rank
