In my opinion faculties matters. Along with that placements and lab facilities also matters. you will soon realize that the subjects for which good faculties are there, in those subjects you got interested in and score well.
And after all your placements will be decided by your aggregate. Also if you are interested in PG, your specialization selection decision will get affected by the subjects you were interested in UG.
So I think you got my point..!! 
Coming to your question,
I know about VIIT. For Civil some faculties are excellent and experts in their respective fields(I said some!!). They perhaps visits as guest lecturers in cummins

Viit is on of the good college in pune which is sister institute of Vishwakarma institute of Technology. And good status among other colleges. Cs ,entc ,it ,mech of this college have NBA accreditation as well as ISO certification.

In case of civil engineering, it also good here.but Not good as compared to other branches and it not received NBA till Now. But the good news is Viit now became autonomous from 2017–18 .so ,there are chances of developing of all branch with civil.

If CS Communication is a subject that interests you and something you can cope with, then I would say that you go for KIIT since VIT Pune and KIIT do not have much difference. Your subject of choice should be important rather than the college unless the college has a bad reputation
