A candidate should have more that 75% in 12th or in top 20 percentile is the criteria for admissions into nits, iiits, gftis etc but you can give your JEE mains and there are some institutes who do not have such criteria for admissions.

Check the detailed eligibility

Sir i have scored cgpa above 7 in all sem except one in which i got 6.67. Psu demands 60% which comes out to be 6.7 or 6.8. So am i eligible with aggregate more than 7 or will they reject me because they want 60% in each sem?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 10th Nov, 2019

hi,

see there is no individual semester marks criteria is not mentioned in any of psus notification past years. for 2020 recruitment many of the psus recruitment is yet to come. so dont worry, most of the psus  needs aggregate of 60% marks in b.tech.

hope it would help.

ANPAM KUMAR Student Expert 1st Oct, 2019

Hey there

Many colleges taking admission through 12th marks basis like colleges under Delhi University and many colleges take there own entrance exam like BHU etc. Even in Engineering many colleges accept 12th marks and many have there own entrance exam.

i gave hsc improvement exam july 2019 to gain marks in pcb and i did get more in pcb but i scored overall less can i still get my july result even if i scored overall less? its HSC MAHARASHTRA BOARD not CBSE so can still get the result of the lesser overall?

KANHU CHARAN ROUT 2nd Oct, 2019

dear student if your previous marks more then your improvement mark then which ever is high is counted and if your improvement mark not qualifying passing mark then do not worried about your pass mark because your 1st qualifying mark is counted for evaluation..

thank you...
