btech admission in government college in up

Heena GJ 4th Oct, 2020

Hi

I suppose you are asking the process to get admission in government college in UP in Btech

So U Btech admission process is completely based on merit of candidates in UPSEE exam. Students with valid UPSEE/JEE score can get admission in UP engineering colleges. Also you have to take part in centralize/ online counseling process for Btech courses.

The no of seats available in Btech courses at engineering colleges affiliated to AKTU are filled through UPSEE merit.

The Btech admission reservation policy of UP is divided in

Name of the Category

Percentage of Seats Reserved

OBC

27%

ST

2%

SC

21%

This is total 50% , other 50% is reserved for sub category of these categories.

For information about eligibility criteria, you can check this out

I got 106 marksbin AP Eamcet (agriculture and medicine) I scored 940 Marks in intermediate. I belong to oc category and i am from Andhra Pradesh. what is my estimated rank and can I get bvsc (veterinary) with this score in government college through counselling?

arpan00002 4th Oct, 2020

Hi aspirant,

You got 106 marks in ap eamcet & 940 in your ipe.

Now, see, this is a combined score vs rank chart for you:

Marks: 99-90

Rank:1-100

Marks: 89-80

Rank: 101-1k

Marks: 79-70

Rank: 1k-5k

Marks: 69-60

Rank: 5k -15k

Marks: 59-50

Rank: 15k - 50k

Marks: 49-40

Rank: 50k - 1.5 L

Marks: 39-30

Rank: 1.5L+

So, it can be seen that your rank in ap eamcet should be below 5000. It's a medum good ranking. For government seat ,one have to be with less than 1400 ranks. You have a less chance to get a govt seat.

This is a ap eamcet college predictor tool for you;

Based on your rank and previous year trend you can definitely get BMS college with CS or It branch and in MSRIT it is difficult to get any seat which you want so you can go for counseling and try to get this college because trend is based on previous year trend and trend changes every year.

i want to take admission in private college of other state under management quota so what is the process. Do i have to fill all india councilling

Heena GJ 4th Oct, 2020

Hello

Management Quota Seats are available in most of the top private colleges & universities in India.

20-30% of total seats are under Management quota for direct admission in most private engineering colleges.

It also depends for which course you are applying like for eg if you want to join engineering colleges for any of the BTech specialization.

You must pass 12th with 45-50% marks in science & maths subjects.

BTech Direct Admission is based on a first come first serve basis.

Usually all the colleges offer admission on basis of

Class 10+2 marks

Entrance exam score

Donation for management quota seats

Institutional level vacant seats.

To get admission you need to

Approach the private college or university , tell them about your entrance exam score and request for seat under Management quota.

Documents required for admission in management quota

1. Marksheet of 10th, 12th

2. Entrance exam results

3. Passport size photographs

4. Donation fee

5. Migration certificate/ transfer certificate (if any)

Students/Parents ID proof.

sir my neet score 525 OBC Maharashtra so what is all india rank of this score

Soumili Majumdar 4th Oct, 2020
Hello there,
With 525 marks, your All India Rank will be around 36000 to 47000 approximately. Since you are from the OBC category, you have fair chances of getting a seat in government medical college with this rank. You should apply for some state counseling. Also note that the cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of candidates appearing for it.
