i got 79% (rank in all india 2,29,310and category rank is 76,133) i am a Obc (BC-D)cast home state is Telangana now am I get seet in nit warngal or nit andra Predash

ARYAN SAGAR 4th Oct, 2020
Dear student,

As you have secured 76133 rank in JEE mains with your OBC category then it is quite impossible for you to get a seat in any NITs.
For getting a seat you must secure at least under 10000 OBC rank to get a seat in NITs.
Now as you belong from home state telangana, then still there is no chance that you can get nit warangal. Even in csab counseling there is no chance.
Now taking about nit andhra pradesh, then still there is no chance that you can get a seat with this much obc rank not even in csab counseling.

You can not get a seat from your general category rank or from your obc category rank in any nits.

Better you try at some other private Institutions.

my jee score is 84.74 percentile can i get bit sindri in any branch

Hilag Shah 4th Oct, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

To get into BIT Sindri will be a tough task as to get into BIT Sindri the minimum required percentile is 92 a cording to previous year cutoff trends.Hence such a big gap cannot be filled and so you should now focus on getting admitted to some descent private engineering college like SRM,DIT(Pimpri),MIT WPU, Bennett University, etc. So I wish you the best of luck.

qualities od south campus of du over north campus

Prachi Pant 4th Oct, 2020

Hi Ankit

First of all I would like to tell you that North Campus is way too hyped and south campus colleges are under rated.

When you will be finally graduated, college name won't be mentioned in the mark sheet except in case of St. stephens or Jesus and Mary College.

There's no such comparison between colleges of North campus and South campus. The faculty of every college is well qualified and experienced. The difference arises in the case of campus exposure, environment and infrastructure.

South campus colleges are good but are under rated as I've mentioned. The faculty here is amazing. In fact, I believe that qualities of both the campus colleges are somewhat similar. See, we can't choose south campus over north campus or vice versa just on the basis of a single factor because there are things where north campus rules and also there are few factors that makes south campus better than north campus.
Thanks

will I get seat in Iiit Allahabad with 3067 category(ST) rank 2020?

Hilag Shah 4th Oct, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

Looking at the past year cutoff trends, the cutoff of IIIT Allahabad for ECE branch in round seven was at 1551.As your rank is 3067 it will be a bit tough to get a seat. But still there are some chances if you apply in the special rounds. But the special rounds are highly uncertain and you should thus not solely depend on them and reserve a seat in some descent Engineering college as a backup. So best of luck.
