can i get bsc.forestry government seat for kcet ranking 14000 and qe 96% in pcmb belonging to 2A category

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 25th Aug, 2020

In 2019, under Mock Counselling Round, a rank of 4464 secured a seat in Kodagu B.Sc College of Forestry under 2A Category. That has been the cut off. Going by that a seat in Forestry with a rank of 14000 might be tad difficult. Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year but because the seats in Forestry are quite less, the cut offs are higher. So with a rank of 14000, it is difficult for a seat in B.Sc Forestry in Government Quota.

where should i go for btech cse nit jamsedhpur or nit hamirpur

vathyaramganesh 4th Oct, 2020

Hi Aspirant,

Choose NIT Jamashedpur over NIT Harimpur.

Infrastructer wise NIT Harimpur is better.Placement wise and cutoff wise NIT Jamshedpur is much better.NIT Jamshedpur is older than NIT Harimpur. Many companies visits NIT,Jamshedpur which you can check via their facebook placement page.

Thank you.

by getting how much percentile for St will get seat in nit Sri nagar

Anurag Khanna 25th Aug, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

From last year onwards the NTA introduced the new result declaration pattern to make the resulty in very fair manner, which is percentile system of evaluation. So, in this system the percentile  is little bit difficult to predict in advance because it depends on various factors like number of candidates appearing in exam, difficulty level of paper. However I am telling you the closing ranks and giving you the general idea of percentile for your category :-

Last year ST category rank upto which a candidate got admission is 9939 for Chemical engineering and it was around 9300 for ECE and mechanical engineering. Hence you should try to secure your category rank under the above mentioned ranks. In order to secure this much rank you should try to secure around 98.8-99 percentile (this may change) and as you have not mentioned your home state so I have described about general ranks for other state quota.

For getting previous year closing rank of other branches in NIT Srinagar refer to the link given below :-

You can also use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your college more precisely from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

is becoming a nss programme coordinator compulsory or voluntary for degree college assistant professors

Mimansa 25th Aug, 2020
Greetings aspirant!

It will depend on your skills and qualification. It isn't necessary but then every professor is given some responsibility other than just teaching. Professor do take positions of responsibility such as department head, coordinator for college societies, nss, ncc, etc.
So it is more kind of a voluntary thing and not compulsory one. Also one should check the eligibility criteria of the college in which he/she wants to apply as professor as different colleges have different requirements, specially privates colleges.

Hope you find it helpful.
Thankyou!

I have got 340 mark in neet 2020 can i get BAMS government college in rest of Maharashtra i belong to NT-C category

Rishita hari 4th Oct, 2020

Hello student,

Your predicted marks for NEET 2020 is about 340, So I would suggest you to go through the rank predictor link for better understanding https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor

Now, you are from NT-C category and having Maharastra domicile. So, from previous year the cut offs were for RA poddar ayurved college 15573 - 135062 and for D.Y. patil college of ayurved 604585 - 822494

The following aspects on which the NEET cutoff depends are:

  1. Total number of students appearing in NEET exam
  2. The difficulty level of the question paper
  3. Number of seats available
  4. Rank in NEET merit list

So, the cutoffs also changes every year depending on these factors.

Your Predicted Rank is: 218327 - 258477 , so it seems that you have less chance in govt. BAMS college but can try for private colleges.

Please follow this college predictor tool for more clear vision about the college you have a chance according to your score https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hopefully, this will be helpful. Please feel free to ask any query in the comment section.

Anurag Khanna 4th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Unfortunately not, the reason being is that NLUs have cut-offs around 100 marks for reservation categories and your marks are quite less for getting any of the NLUs. But yes you can have some different law colleges which you can predict using CLAT College Predictor :-
