What are the chances of getting a Medical College in states other than which I live in ? Im from UP and from General category, can I get a Medical College in South India with 450 marks ?

Anurag Khanna 4th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

If you want to take admission in other state college than you have to take it through 15% All India Quota seats but that is also valid for GMCs. According to the marks mentioned by you in the question your rank is expected in the range of  89930 - 107080. Now on such rank it is quite difficult to get any of the colleges through All India Quota seat but yes you can get some private colleges in UP either on management seat or on government seat according to previous year's cut-offs which you can check out from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up

Note that cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon numerous factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

how much knowledge of computers is mandatory for a ugc-aided degree college for the post of assistant professor of sociology

Anurag Khanna 25th Aug, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

According to the latest qualification criteria of UGC for assistant professor's post, one should have SET/SLET, NET certificate and have completed his/her Master's degree successfully with minimum 55% marks.

If we talk about knowledge of computers so it is not much required and even it is not mandatory in your case because it depends upon your subject of study and you have sociology which does not involves usage of Computers.

But you should have basic skills of Computer for day-to-day life in present time.

I hope this information cleared your doubts.

Good Luck!!

Hi i have finished my 12th and now going to take admission in college for bba I want to know will there be any exam for first year as pervious the students of fy & sy were passed without exam and online class will start from September 15 or 25

Anurag Khanna 25th Aug, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Let me clear your confusion, as you have passed class 12th just few days earlier so now you have to take admission for BBA course in any college, so for this course some colleges are there in India which conducts entrance exam but on the other hand there are some institutes which do not conduct entrance exam. Since you have not mentioned about the name of college so it is little bit difficult to guide you accordingly.

Yes, it is the fact that in the wake of COVID-19 first year and second year students have been passed without appearing in Semester exam but what you have to face is entrance exam (if conducted by college) and the cancellation of entrance exam will be decided by either college administration or state government. If there is no entrance exam then you admission will be based on class 12th marks.

I am enlisting down some good colleges for BBA :-

  • IIM Indore
  • IIM Rohtak
  • Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies-Delhi University
  • NMIMS Mumbai
  • Christ University Bangalore

For complete list refer to the link given below :-

I hope this information cleared your doubts.

Good Luck!!

How is CET Bhubaneswar engineering college for core branches??

Mrinalini Sarkar 4th Oct, 2020

Hello,

CET Bhubaneswar Engineering College is a public engineering autonomous college under the state government. Students are admitted on the basis of JEE Mains.

It is a good college with good infrastructure, proper education and a helpful placement cell. It doesn't matter on the basis of studies as it is extremely well for all the branches. Now , if you observe on the basis of placement overall a huge number of students are placed each year. For core companies it is a bit of a struggle since a good number of companies do come but they only select the brightest students so you have to better than your fellow batchmates. Overall  the recruiters provides a descent average package to the selected students.

Good luck.

hello! i am neet student. i live in Hyderabad and for professional college i want to go to other state. so how is the counseling process?

Kamal Kishor Chaurasiya 25th Aug, 2020

Hi ,

MCC will commence NEET Counselling and Seat Allotment for MBBS/ BDS seats under 15% All India Quota soon after the declaration of result. However, State level counselling for 85% seats will be organized separately by the respective state authorities.

Candidates who will qualify the neet cutoff will have to enroll in the counselling process. This year on account of Covid19 pendemic chances are high that the entire process and verification may be online. Hence, you may not need to visit other state. And if not, then appropriate arrangements will be made by government authorities.

All the best.
