Personally I strongly suggest you to choose nits or iiits over any non reputed private college. Because college tag matter the most when you are sitting for an interview. Don't get worry that how would be new nits or iiits would be like, you just have to focus on yourself and your growth, just make a good ideal in life and follow and finally you will reach your goal.

In SC category, other state studentts and domicile students came for medical. How is final merit for SC students prepared?

Reeyaa Saxena 3rd Oct, 2020

Hello. Always first priority is given to home state I.e., domicile students. And then depending on the cuttoff , suppose considering the cuttoff for a particular State then 15% seats are allotted to other state students ,15% to SC category, 7.5% for ST,27% for OBC. 85% is state quota which can be altered to accommodate more students. And every year State changes its proportion depending on its availability and intake.

Hope that helps!

DPSRU has released provisional merit list today , I am looking for bpt delhi candidate general category I have my name in that list , does it mean I got admission ?

Vallika reddy 25th Aug, 2020

Hello  aspirant,

Yes, if you submit some fee during counselling ASAP, that time your seat will confirmed. Let me explain in detail about provisional merit list:-
The provisional merit lists and the first lists are the same thing. Every college, as per its selection criteria publishes it’s 1st list of the selected students for admission (this list usually comprises of the students with the highest marks/percentile). If a number of seats are still left vacant, then a college prepares a second list to fill them up, and so on.

Hope this helps. Thanks.

my st category rank is 3067, can I get NIT silchar EIE(r ece r mechanic)?

SANKET GHOSH 3rd Oct, 2020

Hello there,

See at this moment is may be difficult to predict whether you may get the desired college or not, since it depends on various other factors.

However, as per previous trends it seems very difficult for you to get NIT SILCHAR in EIE/ECE or mech engg. Since they offer a very higher cutoff

However it also is suggested to you to also apply for various other Institutes like SRM,TIET,AMITY,ADAMAS,PES,CBS etc which offer admission through JEE Scores.

Check out this college predictor tool for better info. About the colleges you may get with your rank
