I have got 19483 kcet rank in bsc ag will I get seat in gkvk in agri couta ? as I am from farmer background

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 25th Aug, 2020

There is a separate merit list that is prepared for Candidates appearing under Agriculturalist Quota. 25% of the marks from their 12th in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, 25% of the marks scored in KCET and 50% of the marks secured in Practical exam conducted for these Candidates are considered to prepare a separate merit list. So we will need that merit rank. In the general Merit list a rank of 13764  secured a seat in GKVK College in B.Sc Agriculture under SC Category. Now this is 2019 Mock Counselling data. If a separate merit list is prepared for you, you will need atleast a rank less than 2000 for a seat in this College.

how to learn physics for board exam?

S. Saha Student Expert 24th Aug, 2020
Physics is one of the most important subjects in intermediate and requires a lot of understanding, patience and practice. You first make a proper and programmatic study schedule which you'll follow throughout your preparation. Then go through the entire syllabus. NCERTs the best books for basic preparation. You must start with NCERTs first and then you can move on to standard reference books such as HC Verma or DC Pandey. You can practice numerical problems from these problems as these books contain quite complex problems. Know the weightage of each topics and complete the easy ones first. Then move on to comparatively difficult sections. You can make your own notes if you find anything difficult. Write down all the formulae in a notebook. Don't leave any concept doubtful or untouched. Give mock tests regularly once you complete your syllabus. Find out your weak areas then, and work on them. Few months before the actual exam, do revise all the topics thoroughly. Revision is a must thing. Before appearing for the examination, you must go through all the points properly.

I am unable to understand your question much. Please make your question a bit more clear. As far as I can understand your query, ITI Assam will start the online application just after the Seba exam result is declared. So students can take admission into any trade of Industrial Training Institute based on 10th standard marks.

I hope you got your answer. If not then please elaborate your question in the comment. We would be glad to help.

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your category and region from where you belongs to so it is little bit difficult to guide you accurately but although I am enlisting down some colleges in Bangalore where you can try for your wished seats :-

  • SKSJT Institute of Engineering
  • Dr. Ambedkar Institute Of Technology
  • Bangalore Institute of Technology
  • Islamia Institute of Technology
  • M V J College of Engineering

Note that the above colleges are predicted only based on previous year's cut-off which are bound to change every year depending upon various factors. You can check previous year's cut-off from the link given below :-

Both of these institutions are highly prestigious ones. However, i will tell you some basic differences among these too.

NIT Rourkela has a higher rank by NIRF when compared to NIT calicut. However, NIT calicut has a lower fees. NIT Rourkela has a median salary for btech students of 6.5 LPA whereas for NIT calicut, it is 8.05 LPA, which is a huge difference. You may follow the link provided below for further comparison:
