Hello,
Admission to the GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course depends on the state and college. But usually, students need at least 40%–50% marks in Class 12. For SC/ST candidates, there is some relaxation.
If you have good marks in 12th with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or Arts stream, you can get admission. Some states take admission through entrance exams, and some through merit lists.
Hope it helps !
The first West Bengal merit list was released on July 5, 2025. The second merit list came out on July 17. The third merit list was published on July 21. The fourth merit list will be out on July 25, and the final one is expected on July 31.
After each merit list, students need to complete their admission process on time. Classes will start from August 1, 2025.
