i made mistake in my ssc cgl application. in indentification mark i gave as left side of nevk instead of right side? what to do?

Chelsie G 23rd Aug, 2025

You don’t need to worry much because such a small mistake in the identification mark is not a serious issue in SSC CGL. During document verification, the authorities mainly check your certificates, identity proof and eligibility, so the left or right side mentioned for the mark will not affect your selection. If a correction window is given you can edit it, otherwise you can explain the mistake during verification and it will be accepted.

Hey ..i appreed in neet pg 2025. My general rank is 1 lakh. I belong to OBC category. If there any chances to get govt college in clinical and non clinical branch

Chelsie G 23rd Aug, 2025

With a NEET PG 2025 general rank of 1,00,000 and belonging to the OBC category, chances of getting a government college in clinical branches are almost nil since the cutoffs for OBC candidates in clinical subjects are usually much lower ranks. However, for non-clinical branches like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, and Community Medicine, there may still be some scope depending on your state quota cutoffs, as they tend to go higher compared to clinical subjects. You should focus more on state counselling rounds and non-clinical options in government or private medical colleges.

I have qualified my 12th with pcb background but I need to enter in btech cse for that I have two option 1 is bridge course of maths which is provided by the university where I am enrolling but it is ugc approved not aicte and 2 option is NWAC board where I get marksheet of whole subject which one is better and safer which would not create problem in future

Chelsie G 23rd Aug, 2025

Since you passed 12th with PCB and now want to enter BTech CSE, the safer and better option is to take the university provided bridge course in Mathematics, even if it is UGC approved and not AICTE. Many universities admit PCB students into engineering through such bridge courses, and it is legally valid as long as the university is recognized by UGC. On the other hand, going for NWAC and getting a fresh mark list with Mathematics may create issues during verification, as some states and institutions do not fully recognize it for professional courses. So, the bridge course route is more reliable, safer, and widely accepted.

cut off for hindu minority 2025 in ascoms

Prachi Kumari 22nd Aug, 2025

Hello,

ASCOMS Jammu has 25 seats under the Hindu Minority quota. The cut-off for 2025 has not been officially released yet.

Based on previous years, the cut-off under this quota usually stays above 300 marks, and many students who scored above 400 were able to get seats. A score around 260 is very low for this quota, while even 430–440 marks may remain on the borderline depending on seat availability and competition.

It is safer to aim for 300+ marks for a chance under the Hindu Minority quota.

Hope it helps !

how is ece at pes ec campus. shoud i wait for 2nd round counselling for cse . but i cant get tier 1 college

Chelsie G 23rd Aug, 2025

ECE at PES EC campus is considered good with decent placements, especially in core electronics as well as software roles since many students end up in IT companies too. If you are mainly interested in coding and want CSE, then waiting for 2nd round counselling can be an option, but you should be realistic getting CSE in top tier colleges may not be possible with your rank. If you are fine with PES EC and want a stable branch with flexibility for both core and IT jobs, then ECE is a safe choice. If your main aim is only CSE, you can wait for the 2nd round, but don’t expect a big jump into Tier 1 colleges.

I have 295 score in davv group C mapping do i have a chance to get integrated btech + mtech for CS/AI AND DS/IT/IOT my UR rank is 790

Chelsie G 23rd Aug, 2025

With a score of 295 in DAVV group C and a UR rank of 790, you have a fair chance to get into the integrated BTech and MTech program, but seats in popular branches like CS, AI & DS, IT, and IoT are usually taken up quickly by higher ranked students. CS and AI & DS are the most in demand, so it may be tough to get them in the first round. However, you may still get a chance in later rounds or in branches like IT/IoT depending on how many higher-ranked candidates opt for other choices. Keep all preferred branches in order during choice filling and don’t skip counselling rounds.
