No there is no need to have mathematics  as an additional subject in your class 12th for pursuing Bsc focused in Biotechnology  course. See, there is no need to have mathematics but the candidates must have physics, biology and chemistry as main subjects in class 12th for pursuing

OC is open category and UR is unreserved category which is generaly. Both are synonym. But if you are born in general category in Tamilnadu then you are OC, if you are born in any other state, general category then you are UR.
