bsc it or btech mechanical salary wise ?????
I believe a Bachelor of Technology (Mechanical) always has more career scope and prospects than a Bsc in IT, unless you are seriously interested in CSE and Information Technology. If the latter case is true, you should plan a MCA or a Masters/MS in Information Technology / Computer Science after graduation for more career scope and prospects.
Else, at present I believe Mechanical Engineering is currently one of the oldest as well as at the same time the newest branch, with lots of innovation to come in future. Unless your institute is a new one, you may even have considerable placements from Mechanical Engineering with many students preparing for Examinations like GATE and ESE for prestigious government jobs as well as Jobs in PSUs and Public Research Organizations like BARC, DRDO, etc.
