Can I persue bsc nursing after my graduating in bsc botany
You can pursue bsc nursing based on 12th qualifications, not your bachelor's degree. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) are mandatory subjects for the course.
If you dont have these subjects you can first pursue a GNM diploma. After completing the GNM and gaining professional experience, you would then be eligible for the two-year Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing program.
For good bsc colleges you need to appear for required entrance exam NEET.
Hope it helps..
Hey, BSc Nursing is a professional course mainly meant for students from the medical stream (PCB) after 12th. If you’ve already done BSc Botany, you usually can’t get direct admission into BSc Nursing, because the eligibility is based on 12th PCB, not on graduation. However, if you want, you can go for post-basic nursing courses (like Post Basic BSc Nursing) or even MSc Nursing, but that’s only possible if you already have a GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) diploma. So, if you’re seriously interested in nursing, you’ll need to start with GNM or a fresh BSc Nursing. Directly switching to nursing after BSc Botany isn’t possible.
Yeah, you can totally go for BSc Nursing after doing BSc Botany, but most colleges treat BSc Nursing as an undergraduate degree, so usually you’d need to meet the basic eligibility like finishing 12th with PCB subjects and meeting age criteria. Having BSc Botany could give you an edge in some places for understanding biology, but you might still have to start at the undergraduate level for nursing, not postgrad. Best way is to check with the college you’re interested in to see if they give any special entry or lateral admission for graduates like you.
