Dear Ruby, not trying to underplay what you must be going through, OCD is common atleast 3 out of 10 people and its not an exaggeration. And taking up Neuroscience as a branch of study enables you to underatand the fundamental and properties of neurons and neural circuits. With such a deep understanding phenomenom which will be your area of study for the next 3 years and a career afterwards, it only makes you a better person than still luring you deep into OCD. The next 3 years you will understand the pattern of the nervous system and its behaviour thereby eliminating unwanted behaviour that might have been stopping you from having a carefree life.
