Hello dear aspirant,
Iits take admission only in the basis of the merit score and rank in jee advanced examination.
Hence if your marks scored in jee advanced are good enough you can get admission in any of the iit however if you get low marks but above general cutoff in that case you can only get admission only if your category rank is very good .
