hello actually I have to ask about the ex-servicemen quota.that if I have completed my 12 the from Karnataka m I eligible for maharastra 85%state quota as I belong to maharastra. and also I have studied for five years In Karnataka what's ur preference to me shall I do it in MH or Karnataka itself

Dear Ashish, to claim Karnataka domicile criteria, you should have studied in Karnataka for a minimum period of 7 years in any Government recognised Institution. You should have studied your 11th and 12th from Karnataka AND either of your parents should have studied from Karnataka for atleast 7 years. So now either you or your parents should have studied in Karnataka for atleast 7 years. 5 years will not do. Considering this fact, you have to appear for Maharashtra State Counselling. But you can also appear for Karnataka State Counselling as not its domicile candidate but because Karnataka is an open State.
