It is nearly impossible for you to get a seat in NITs at this rank. Mostly, you could get is NIT Srinagar or GFTIs, extreme cases though. But don't you lose your expectations. You have various other options. All you need to do is look up for the possibilities. There are several private institutions that give admission on the basis of JEE mains score, while there are others which have their own entrance exams. Just do a little bit of research work. There are no specific seats for girls in NITs as it is for IITs. You do have an increase in seats for female in the mechanical department in some NITs. And according to previous year results, it is quite difficult for you to get into the top NITs. You may try for newer NITs and NITs in the eastern region if interested. All the best!!
